CLE Presentation Materials

On Friday, March 9, I was a presenter at a CLE program in Indianapolis put on by the Indiana State Bar Association. The program was jointly presented by the ISBA’s Technology Committee and Law Practice Management Section. Our topic was data protection, using encryption and strong passwords to avoid malpractice and disciplinary matters.

My co-presenters were Jeff Goens, the president and general counsel of Dialawg and Seth Wilson (no relation) of Hume Smith Geddes Green & Simmons, in Indianapolis.

If you haven’t heard of Dialawg, I recommend you give it a look. Dialawg is a full-featured tool that lets you have secure communications with anyone you want. It has a free version that is worth checking out.

Since it’s an area of interest to me, I took up the issue of strong passwords. In case you’re interested, I’ve uploaded my presentation materials. There’s nothing new there, but sometimes it’s nice to have a file you can share with a colleague.

    1. Seth, it was great to be on the panel with you and Jeff. If your mind-set is similar to mine, you might want to enlist the services of a good therapist promptly. 🙂
